кноп буйрепный– кноп на концах буйрепов кабельной работы. Делается для того, чтобы прядь, которую буйреп прихватывает к веретену якоря, не могла соскочить с буйрепа. Кноп буйрепный делают следующим образом: распускают конец буйрепа на стренди и, отделив от каждой стренди по одной пряди, свивают оставшиеся части стрендей опять вместе. Выделенными прядями делают около коренной части троса колесо, после чего оставшимися ходовыми прядями кладут на свитую часть буйрепа трень, которую крепят бензелем со змейкой или конец оплетают оплеткой.
